Dear Ms. Lahti,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting.  My favorite tv show that you played in was Chicago Hope. Chicago Hope was a great tv show because I enjoyed the plot of the show about doctors, nurses, and hospital administration on dealing with medical cases.  Another thing that I liked about Chicago Hope is how they showed what it was like dealing with ethics on different medical issues and how different characters have unique traits.  Ms. Lahti, you did an excellent job playing as Dr. Kate Austin in the show because I liked on how you made her have unique traits like learning from past mistakes to improve herself on dealing with solving or helping patients with medical issues and working to resolver her conflicts with other hospital staff members when there is a disagreement about handling a medical case.   Another show that I liked  was when you guest star in Law And Order SVU where you played ADA Sonya Paxton during season 11 and 12. In Law And Order SVU, you did a great job portraying as ADA Sonya Paxton because I liked on how you made her have  interesting traits like working to resolve conflicts between the SVU squad when they disagree on how to handle a criminal case,  presenting evidence along with examining it in the court, and working to hard to combat against her alcohol abuse.  An American Daughter  was a great Lifetime tv movie because I enjoyed the story about Dr. Lyssa Dent Hughes, a daughter of U.S. Senator Alan Hughes who is nominated to serve as U.S. Surgeon General and is struggling due to her background check on neglecting jury duty and many others.  You did an excellent job making Dr. Lyssa Dent Hughes a great character in the tv movie because I liked on how you made her have great traits like wanting to help make a difference for people who need health care and working hard to overcome her struggle as a woman in politics due to the media and tough politics attacking her ideas including her character. On the Charlie Rose  show “An American Daughter” episode I enjoyed watching interview about you playing in the movie including explain about the struggles of women in politics along with the entertainment businesses.

Ms. Lahti, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have struggles like have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Another thing that I struggle with autism is when I struggle to have friendships including lose friends due to being different. Your acting in Chicago Hope and in An American Daughter really inspires me to work hard on my disability, learn the need to work hard when there are struggles, continue to do good work when other people don’t see it.  Your role in An American Daughter got me really interested in learning about public policy and studying public officials who are strong supporters of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights  protect the environment from pollution, improve social justice, and many others.

You did an excellent job making Chicago Hope a great tv show and making your character Dr. Kate Austin have great traits.  Also you did a really great job in Law and Order SVU.  You have inspired me to be a fan of your acting and to continue to watch re-runs of Chicago Hope.  Also you did a great job making An American Daughter a great movie. Here is a picture of me as a gift to you or inspiring me to be a fan of your acting and be a huge fan of Chicago Hope and $5 for you to use to donate to fund the arts.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, doing an excellent job acting, and inspiring me. I wish you well for the future in acting and I hope that you can continue to be star in different tv shows.
Sincerely,

Matt Winick
